Adding Titan Email to Outlook and Apple Mail

Your phone handles email on the go. Your computer is where the real work happens. This article connects your Titan mailbox to Outlook on Windows or Apple Mail on Mac, so your business email lives alongside your calendar and contacts. If you have not created your mailbox yet, start with Setting Up Titan Business Email in 10 Minutes.

What you need

Your full email address, your mailbox password, and the server settings from your Titan welcome email. Use IMAP, not POP. IMAP keeps your computer, phone, and webmail in perfect sync. POP downloads emails to one device and removes them from the server, which breaks that sync and is almost never what a business wants.

Outlook on Windows

  1. Open Outlook. Go to File, then Add Account.
  2. Enter your full Titan email address and click Connect.
  3. Outlook may try to guess the settings automatically. If it succeeds, enter your password when prompted and you are done. If it fails or asks for manual setup, continue below.
  4. Choose IMAP as the account type when offered manual options.
  5. Enter the incoming (IMAP) and outgoing (SMTP) server host names from your Titan welcome email, your full email address as the username, and your password.
  6. Click Connect or Next. Outlook tests the settings. When the tests pass, click Done.
  7. Send a test email to confirm sending works, and check that incoming mail arrives.

Apple Mail on Mac

  1. Open the Mail app. From the menu bar, choose Mail, then Add Account.
  2. Select Other Mail Account and click Continue.
  3. Enter your name, your full Titan email address, and your password. Click Sign In.
  4. Mail will try automatic configuration. If it cannot, it asks for the details manually. Enter the incoming and outgoing server host names from your Titan welcome email, keeping your full email address as the username.
  5. Click Done. Your Titan mailbox appears in the Mail sidebar. Send a test email to confirm.

Sent mail and folders look odd?

After setup, check that sent emails land in the Sent folder and not somewhere unexpected. In Outlook, this is under the IMAP account’s folder list. In Apple Mail, use Mailbox, then Use This Mailbox For, to assign the correct server folders for Sent, Drafts, Trash, and Junk. Getting this right keeps your folders consistent across phone, computer, and webmail.

Troubleshooting the common failures

  • Repeated password prompts: almost always a wrong password or a username that is not the full email address. Retype both. If you recently changed your mailbox password, update it in the app too.
  • Can receive but cannot send: the SMTP settings need attention. Verify the outgoing server host name and confirm that outgoing authentication is enabled with your full credentials.
  • Certificate warnings: make sure you are using the exact server host names from your welcome email, not a guessed variation.

Adding a second mailbox and setting signatures

Repeat the same steps to add more mailboxes, for example a shared info@ address alongside your personal one. Both will appear in the app’s sidebar. Then set up a signature in each app so every email goes out looking professional. In Outlook this is under Settings, then Mail, then Compose and reply. In Apple Mail it is under Settings, then Signatures. Include your name, role, business name, and phone number. A consistent signature across your team makes the whole business look established.
