Refund eligibility depends on the service, billing term, purchase timing, provisioning or consumption, vendor rules, and account standing. Cancellation requests should be submitted before the next renewal date.
Overview
This Refund Policy applies to InterProWebHost services unless a specific product, proposal, promotion, contract, or order form states otherwise.
Our billing and refund structure is designed to remain clear, fair, and operationally consistent with the digital nature of hosting and related services.
General refund eligibility
Refund eligibility depends on the service type, billing term, time elapsed since purchase or renewal, whether the service has been provisioned or consumed, and whether the account remains in good standing.
| Service category | General position | Important conditions |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly services | Generally non-refundable once billed and provisioned | Cancellation prevents future renewal but does not usually refund the current period |
| Qualifying annual hosting | May qualify within 30 days of the initial purchase | First-time purchases only; exclusions and service-specific terms apply |
| Domains, SSL, and one-time work | Generally non-refundable | Registry, vendor, setup, migration, and custom-work charges are excluded |
| Vendor-based services | Subject to the provider's policy | InterProWebHost does not override or extend third-party refund terms |
Monthly services
Monthly services are generally non-refundable once billed and provisioned. This includes month-to-month hosting and related recurring monthly service charges unless otherwise stated in writing.
Cancelling a monthly service prevents future renewal charges but does not usually create a refund for the current billing period.
Annual services
Annual hosting or qualifying recurring annual services may be eligible for a refund only within the first 30 days of the initial purchase, unless specifically excluded by product type, promotional terms, or service-specific conditions.
After the 30-day period, annual services are generally non-refundable.
Vendor-based services
Certain services offered through InterProWebHost are fulfilled by third-party vendors, including VPN services, email platforms, security tools, monitoring, and other add-ons.
VPN services
VPN services are provided through third-party partners. Refund eligibility, including any money-back guarantee, is subject to the vendor's terms and conditions.
Non-refundable items
The following categories are generally non-refundable:
- Domain registrations, renewals, transfers, redemption fees, and registry charges
- SSL certificates and vendor-issued or third-party-activated digital products
- Setup fees, migration fees, one-time administrative fees, and custom work
- Dedicated resources or custom services provisioned specifically for the customer
- Promotional bundles, discounted offers, or free-domain promotions stated as non-refundable
- Services suspended or terminated for policy violations, fraud, or abuse
Cancellation and renewal timing
Customers are responsible for cancelling services before the renewal date if they do not wish to continue. Failure to cancel before renewal may result in valid renewal charges that are not automatically refundable.
Refunds are not provided for partial use, unused time, or mid-cycle cancellation unless otherwise required by law or expressly approved in writing.
A credit used to calculate an eligible mid-cycle upgrade or downgrade is a plan-change billing adjustment, not a cash refund. Plan changes remain subject to the applicable product, compatibility, account, and billing requirements described in the Terms of Service.
Abuse, violations, and termination
No refunds are issued for accounts or services suspended, restricted, or terminated because of violations of our Terms of Service, Acceptable Usage Policy, abuse rules, anti-fraud controls, security issues, spam incidents, illegal activity, or copyright-related enforcement.
Chargebacks and payment disputes
Customers must contact InterProWebHost first to seek a billing resolution before filing a chargeback or payment dispute.
- Services may be suspended while a payment dispute is under review
- Refund eligibility may be denied when a chargeback begins without prior resolution efforts
- Fraudulent or abusive payment disputes may result in account termination and refusal of future service
Discretionary exceptions
In limited cases, InterProWebHost may choose, at its sole discretion, to issue an account credit, goodwill adjustment, or partial refund. An exception does not waive our rights under this policy and does not establish a precedent for future cases.
Policy updates
We may update this Refund Policy to reflect product, billing, vendor, legal, operational, or compliance changes. Revised versions become effective when posted unless otherwise stated.
