An autoresponder acknowledges incoming email while you are away or provides a standard reply. It does not replace the inbox: messages can still arrive in the existing mailbox while the automatic response is active.
Before you start
- Use the cPanel service responsible for the address and decide when the reply should start and stop. These controls do not manage Titan autoresponders.
- Prepare a short response with an expected reply timeframe or an approved alternative contact. Avoid exposing private travel details or internal account information.
Instructions
Start the autoresponder
Open Autoresponders in cPanel and choose Add Autoresponder. Select the intended domain and email name; only one autoresponder is allowed per address.
Set the reply interval
Keep UTF-8 for ordinary text and choose an interval in hours between replies to the same sender. For example, 24 avoids repeated replies throughout one day.
Write the response
Enter the display name, subject and body. Leave the HTML option off for a plain-text response and review the recipient-facing wording.
Choose the schedule
Set the start time and a later stop time, or choose the immediate options where appropriate. Check the displayed date and time before selecting Create.
Edit or remove it later
Use Edit to change an existing response and save with Modify. To stop it completely, choose Delete beside the correct address and confirm Delete Autoresponder.
Check the result
- Send a message from an external account after the start time. Confirm the reply text and that the original message remains available in your inbox.
Troubleshooting
- A second test produces no reply
- The interval can suppress another response to the same sender. Check the schedule and interval before creating a duplicate responder.
- The rule exists but never responds
- Confirm the exact address, active dates and successful incoming delivery. Messages identified as spam may be excluded from autoresponses.

The video may show an older interface. Use the written instructions above when screen names differ.
