Create an email account in cPanel

Create a separate mailbox when a team member needs to send and receive business email using your domain. These instructions apply to mail hosted inside your cPanel service; Titan Business Email mailboxes are managed through their own service.

These steps use cPanel's Email Accounts interface. A different cPanel theme may group the same tasks in an Email hub.

Before you start

• Sign in to the cPanel account for the correct hosting service. Confirm that your plan has an available mailbox allowance and that the domain appears in the account.
• Choose the address and mailbox owner in advance. Creating a mailbox does not move an existing inbox from another provider or change the domain's mail routing.

Instructions

1. Open Email Accounts

   In cPanel, find Email Accounts and select Create. Review the available account allowance before adding another mailbox.

2. Choose the address

   Select the domain if a selector is shown, then enter the part before the @ sign. Check the completed address for spelling errors.

3. Set the mailbox password

   Choose Set password now and generate a unique password. Save it securely for the mailbox owner; it is separate from the hosting account password.

4. Review storage and create

   Expand Optional Settings if available and choose an allowance within the plan limits. Select Create, then confirm the mailbox appears in the list.

5. Open the new inbox

   Use Check Email beside the new address. For a desktop client, obtain this mailbox's secure settings from Connect Devices.

Check the result

• Send a short message to an external address, then reply from that address. Confirm both directions work and that the expected sender address is used.

Troubleshooting

The domain or Create option is unavailable

Confirm the selected hosting service and its email allowance with support. Do not change unrelated DNS records to make the option appear.

Webmail opens but external mail never arrives

Ask support to check the domain's actual email provider and routing. A locally created mailbox will not receive mail routed to Titan or another platform.
