This article connects your Titan mailbox to Outlook on Windows or Apple Mail on Mac, so your business email lives alongside your calendar and contacts. What you need<\/h2>\n

Your full email address, your mailbox password, and the server settings from your Titan welcome email. Use IMAP, not POP. IMAP keeps your computer, phone, and webmail in perfect sync. POP downloads emails to one device and removes them from the server, which breaks that sync and is almost never what a business wants.<\/p>\n

Outlook on Windows<\/h2>\n

  1. Open Outlook. Go to File, then Add Account.<\/li>\n
  2. Enter your full Titan email address and click Connect.<\/li>\n
  3. Outlook may try to guess the settings automatically. If it succeeds, enter your password when prompted and you are done. If it fails or asks for manual setup, continue below.<\/li>\n
  4. Choose IMAP as the account type when offered manual options.<\/li>\n
  5. Enter the incoming (IMAP) and outgoing (SMTP) server host names from your Titan welcome email, your full email address as the username, and your password.<\/li>\n
  6. Click Connect or Next. Outlook tests the settings. When the tests pass, click Done.<\/li>\n
  7. Send a test email to confirm sending works, and check that incoming mail arrives.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Apple Mail on Mac<\/h2>\n

    1. Open the Mail app. From the menu bar, choose Mail, then Add Account.<\/li>\n
    2. Select Other Mail Account and click Continue.<\/li>\n
    3. Enter your name, your full Titan email address, and your password. Click Sign In.<\/li>\n
    4. Mail will try automatic configuration. If it cannot, it asks for the details manually. Enter the incoming and outgoing server host names from your Titan welcome email, keeping your full email address as the username.<\/li>\n
    5. Click Done. Your Titan mailbox appears in the Mail sidebar. Send a test email to confirm.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Sent mail and folders look odd?<\/h2>\n

      After setup, check that sent emails land in the Sent folder and not somewhere unexpected. In Outlook, this is under the IMAP account\u2019s folder list. In Apple Mail, use Mailbox, then Use This Mailbox For, to assign the correct server folders for Sent, Drafts, Trash, and Junk. Getting this right keeps your folders consistent across phone, computer, and webmail.<\/p>\n
