Your business deserves an email address on your own domain. you@yourbusiness.com tells customers you are established. you@randommail.com tells them you might be. Titan is InterProWebHost\u2019s business email platform, and setting it up takes about ten minutes. By the end of this article, you will have a working mailbox and your first test email sent.<\/p>\n

What you need<\/h2>\n

You need a Titan mailbox on your account (ordered through the InterProWebHost website or your client area) and a domain pointed at your hosting or with DNS you can manage. If your domain is not pointed yet, see How to Point Your Domain to InterProWebHost<\/a> first. Email routing depends on DNS records called MX records, which need to point at Titan\u2019s mail servers.<\/p>\n

Step 1: Create your mailbox<\/h2>\n

Open your Titan control panel from your client area. Create a new mailbox by entering the address you want, for example info@yourbusiness.com or yourname@yourbusiness.com, and set a strong password. For a small business, start with the addresses you actually need: one general address and one per person is plenty. You can add more later.<\/p>\n

Step 2: Verify your MX records<\/h2>\n

For email to reach Titan, your domain\u2019s MX records must point to Titan\u2019s mail servers. If your domain\u2019s nameservers are set to your InterProWebHost hosting, this is usually handled automatically when the mailbox is created. Check the email setup or DNS section of your control panel to confirm the MX records are in place. If your DNS is managed elsewhere, add the MX records your Titan welcome email specifies. Email can take a little while to start flowing after MX changes, as with any DNS update. See How Long Does DNS Propagation Take<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Step 3: Log in to webmail and send a test<\/h2>\n

Open Titan webmail in your browser and log in with your new address and password. Send a test email to your personal address, then reply to it. If both directions work, your mailbox is live. Take a moment to set up your email signature in the webmail settings. A proper signature with your name, business, and phone number makes every email look professional.<\/p>\n

Step 4: Connect your phone and computer<\/h2>\n

Webmail is fine for occasional use, but you will want your business email in the apps you already use. Titan works with standard email apps on every device:<\/p>\n
